Berry lips for the holidays are always a yes. Especially when they feel juicy, bold, and a little bit flirty. ⁠

In this look I’m using a Plum Lip Liner, Mulberry Color Lux Llipstick, and Juicy Colour Lux Lip Glaze all by Jane Iredale. The perfect trio for a winter pout. And just a little makeup side note from me to you… in this video I happened to be wearing a smokey eye but I would never wear a smokey eye and a berry lip together. It’s just too much. When I do a berry lip like this I keep the eyes soft and nude so all the drama is on the lips. ⁠

Here’s a few reasons why makeup creases: ⁠

1️⃣ You’re using too much. If you’re after good coverage and that’s why you’re using more makeup, then consider switching to a makeup that has more pigment so you can use less of it. ⁠
⁠
2️⃣ You’re applying it with your fingers, which is fine, but not blending with a REALLY soft brush. I like to stipple blend, which uses a soft brush to tap product into place. ⁠

3️⃣ If you are going to use a powder to set your makeup, look for a VERY fine powder, because almost all the others will crease over time. ⁠
