Part-Time Business Assistant (Virtual)

Location: Remote (Virtual)
Hours: Approximately 2 hours per day, Monday–Friday, between 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

About Dana Joon Beauty Bar

Dana Joon Beauty Bar is more than a beauty business—it's a growing personal brand focused on helping women look and feel their best through luxury beauty services, education, and authentic online content. As the business continues to expand into online education, brand partnerships, and influencer collaborations, we're looking for an organized, proactive Business Assistant to help support the day-to-day operations behind the scenes.

This is an ideal role for someone who loves beauty, social media, and business, and enjoys taking initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do.

About the Role

We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented virtual assistant who can help keep the business running efficiently while supporting its growth. You'll work directly with Dana to manage ongoing tasks, identify opportunities, and help turn ideas into action.

This role begins as a part-time position (approximately 10 hours per week), with opportunities to grow as the business grows.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

Track and follow up with makeup and skincare consultation leads
Support client retention initiatives and customer follow-up
Manage Dana's email inbox and organize communications
Assist with brand communications and partnership management
Research and pitch brands Dana would love to collaborate with
Negotiate influencer and brand partnership opportunities
Track online course and digital product sales
Monitor business metrics using Google Sheets and reporting tools
Engage with followers on social media to help increase visibility, bookings, and online course sales
Support marketing initiatives that drive in-person appointments and online tutorial sales
Conduct research and bring new ideas to weekly strategy meetings
Assist with administrative projects as the business evolves
Maintain organized digital files using Google Drive and related platforms

We're Looking For Someone Who...

Is exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
Is proactive and enjoys problem-solving
Can work independently with minimal supervision
Has excellent written communication skills
Is comfortable communicating professionally with brands and businesses
Is confident using Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, Gmail)
Is social media savvy and understands how engagement supports business growth
Can manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Maintains confidentiality and professionalism
Has strong time management skills

Bonus Qualifications

These aren't required but would definitely be considered an asset:

Experience working with influencers or content creators
Understanding of the beauty industry
Experience negotiating brand partnerships or sponsorships
Familiarity with email marketing platforms
Basic knowledge of social media analytics
Experience using Canva or other content creation tools
Customer service or sales experience

Weekly Collaboration

One weekly virtual check-in meeting with Dana
Ongoing communication as needed throughout the week
Flexible scheduling within business hours (9:00 AM–3:00 PM)
